Bring Your Own Body began as a play on the familiar party invitation. Julia developed the idea with Libby Stefanich and Andrea Lule into a short thriller about betrayal, revenge, and women’s empowerment.
The first short-film project from Bronco Studios, B.Y.O.B. brought a long-held concept from Julia’s phone into a collaborative production.
Julia’s contribution
Julia contributed the original concept and worked as a writer and director. Developing and workshopping the story remains a defining part of her interest in filmmaking.
